IMS Completes Removal of Over 800 Tonnes of Knotweed-contaminated Soils for Meath County Council

It has been an extremely busy start to the Japanese knotweed season. IMS, in conjunction with Shannon Valley Plant Hire, recently completed the removal of over 800 tonnes of knotweed-contaminated soils for Meath County Council at Brews Hill in Navan.

Japanese Knotweed is an extraordinarily aggressive and fast-growing invasive species that poses a substantial threat to the built and natural environment. IMS provides one of the only licensed facilities in Ireland for the off-site biosecure disposal of Japanese knotweed. For more information visit www.imsirl.ie.
