Job Description – Facility / Operations Manager
Integrated Materials Solutions (IMS) is an environmental company specialising in the sustainable management of construction type wastes and provision of a range of environmental services. The company was established in 2017 and works with a range of range of clients across the construction and industrial sectors.
IMS operate an EPA licenced waste facility in Dublin and operate across a number of sites in the greater Dublin area. IMS provide a number of field services including sampling, monitoring, dewatering and reporting through IMS Site Services. IMS are committed to providing quality services to our clients in a safe and environmentally sustainable manner.
Job Role:
We are currently looking for a Facility / Operations Manager to join our team based in our facility in north Co. Dublin. The role involves managing the day-to-day operations at an EPA authorised site, ensuring compliance with the Licence, maintaining NSAI quality management systems, working with site team and management and liaising with stakeholders.This is a permanent role with a very competitive salary and benefits package.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of environmental monitoring and dewatering equipment.
- Carrying out regular site visits, equipment checks and trouble shooting.
- Carrying out field work including site investigations, sample and data collection.
- Record keeping and reporting.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Experience in one of the following areas is required; waste management, facilities management, environmental science/engineering, health and safety or geoscience.
- Ideally relevant qualification and training.
- A proven track record in a senior role, leadership qualities, excellent communication skills with strong focus on customers, health and safety and environment.
- Good level of technical expertise related to waste/environmental/health and safety management.
- Good level of IT/PC literacy especially in MS office and experience in preparing reports for management team and stakeholders.
